Keeping Austin Weird

Last week end the kids and  I went to Austin to be with my family and to meet our newest member of the family, Miss Marin. Everyone was there except my oldest brother and his family. It was so good to see everyone and to love on that sweet little neice of mine. Here is our week end in pictures.

Carson loves doggies. Because Kate and I are allergic to them he has to love on other peoples dogs when we go to visit them. Poor Boy. He LOVES dogs!
My brother Brig is an awesome uncle. He flips, throws, and wrestles. Major requirements for being a great Uncle. My kids love him. Kate calls him "Uncle Big "
If you give Carson a truck, ball, car, or train (Choo Choo) he is a happy boy.
My Sis in law Kelly is so patient and kind. Here she is teaching Kate and Carson how to feed Francis the fish.
Carson's Turn!
Here's the story about Francis the fish. The next day after this picture was taken Kate was throwing a ball in Brig's house and Kate hit the fish bowl. The fish bowl was knocked over and suddenly Francis was flopping on the floor clnging to life. My brother is yelling at me, "Betsy! Pick up the fish!" The only thing I could say was, "I am NOT picking up that fish!!!!" Kelly came to the rescue and saved Francis' life and she lived. At least she was living when we left Austin.
The next day we got to see my nephew Caden play in his basketball game. My brother Brig is the coach.
This picture is so blurry but it tells a sweet story. When Kate saw her Honey she ran right into her arms and parked herself in Honey's lap for the duration of the first half. It was truly so sweet.
Here's baby Marin and her Mom Stacey! Isn't she beautiful?? Look at those cheeks. I just wanted to squeeze them everytime I saw her. (And I did!)

Me and sweet Marin. Kate is so relieved that there is finally another girl in this family. Tonight she said to me , "I want to see Baby Marin." We had to get on Stacey's blog to watch the best of Marin's videos. :)

There is something about seeing your siblings become parents. It makes me see them in a different light. I love it. Fatherhood definitely agrees with Burke.
Stacey, Burke, Marin and my Dad. Stacey looked so great. She is such a beautiful person. I am so lucky to have such wonderful sister in laws.
I cannot get Kate to look at the camera.
She acts like she's in the witness protection program.
Carson meeting cousin Marin for the first time. I think he loved her.
Aunt Stacey getting some cuddle time with Kate
My brother Brig. Such an amazing guy.
I love this picture of my brothers. The majority of pictures that I have of them they choose not to smile, so this one is a rare take.
I love this kid. He is such a good person, and like his Dad he has the biggest heart.
So fun to watch Caden play. He's such a Brednich. My brothers could sweat bullets standing still in a blizzard. Apparently Caden has inherited this trait.
This is my Great Grandfather. Brig has this picture in his house. Interesting looking guy no? He looks like he has some stories to tell.

You did get some great pictures! Where are the Mayflower/Mayfield Park pictures? But there were so many of these I loved!
