Because I Don't Want to Forget

*** I was working in another room last week end  and I heard Kate call out "Mom? I really really really love you!"

***Last night I was laying down with Carson and he said, "Mommy, you're a great Gwerl (girl)". I love the way he says girl

***A couple of weeks ago Kate and I were sitting there waiting for church to start and she says completely out of the blue, "Mommy, Mimi's my best girl." Of course I immediately had to text my Mom.

***Kate has started saying "Can I play with your hair?" or "Can I brush your hair?" I love having a girly girl

***We went to McDonald's tonight and as we were walking in a little boy ran up to us and said "Hey Kate! Hey Daddy it's Kate." I love how when kids see each other outside of school they get so excited. This happened to us once when Kate saw one of her friends at Target. It's so cute because you don't really know the kid, but they sure do!

***And this last one well I kind of want to forget it, but it's all comes with the territory of being a Mom. All the way home I was talking to my Mom on the phone bragging about how great Carson was doing with potty training even talking about what we were going to give him for his big surprise. WELL today is payday so every payday the kids and I go out to eat which includes either McDonalds or Chick Fil A. It was McDonald's tonight and just before Carson went off to play I reminded him to let me know......It wasn't 2 minutes later that I saw him squatting in the top level of the play gym. Drat! So needless to say I had to do the walk of shame through the McDonald's with the poopy boy and the teenagers shooting us looks of disgust.

God has said, "Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:5-6
