A School Memory

This morning brought about another first for Kate. Carson and I  walked her to the school front door and watched her walk down the VERY long hallway to her classroom all by herself! She was so proud. She looked so tiny bouncing down that hallway. She looked back over her shoulder and blew me a kiss. All confident and proud. The greeter teacher was encouraging me so much "You're doing great Mom. Look at how proud she is." Another Mom walking her little boy down the hall  turned as she walked by and said "You're so brave!" The tears were coming for me and I looked down to Carson and he was crying and saying he wanted to go with her. He was having a hard time letting go of our girl to! We had to go outside and sit on the curb and collect ourselves.  I thought "What a mess we will both be when we take her to college some day:)" And then my sweet compassionate boy said, "Mommy, you can take ME into my class today." :) Just what I needed Carso, thank you:)

Our Amazing Trio.

Oh my!! I loved this story. LOVED it. Sweet, brave kiddos. I miss them. Please give them both 10 kisses each from me. And them 15 hugs each from me. Did I mention that I miss them?

God has said, "Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:5-6
