Carsie and Dancing Kate Go to Florida Day 3

My niece Marin is the cutest little girl you will ever meet. She is beautiful and smart and sweet. And she loves my kids. She has made up nicknames for them which we have been using long after we said good bye 3 weeks ago. Ever since she was a little girl she has called Carson "Carsie." She came to see us a little while ago and if he wasn't in the room she would call out "CAaaaaaarsieeee!!! Where Are you??????" It was adorable and Carson loved it. This trip the nickname stuck and I find myself using it all of the time now. So now Carson has a few nicknames, Cars (this is Kate's exclusive. She didn't move over to the Carsie camp) my still beloved Carso and now Carsie. And for Kate it's Dancing Kate. She watched the video of Kate's ballet recital and ever since it's been Dancing Kate. All that to say these cousins are bonding and it so wonderful to see. This was the day we met up with Burke and Stacey and the wonderful Marin and her adorable sister Hollis. Scenes from Day 3. Next up:  The Never Ending Bike Ride.......

He's having fun...no really...he is:)

Before we left Gulfport we had to stop at the Krispy Kreme store. Actually we missed the free hotel breakfast by 15 minutes. Drat! So plan B was a tasty one and pleased Kate, as she thinks donuts are the end all be all. Especially Krispy Kreme.

We've never been in the actual store. The kids watched the donuts  being made which was pretty cool.

Perfection confection.

We hit the road for our 5 hour trip and this sign was a welcome sight.

I looked back and saw this. I LOVE this boy.

Marin! We were finally there!

Kate wearing lip gloss before we hit the beach.

Does this scream beach or what?

Look how burned Carson is already. We had only been out there about 15 minutes. Beach rays are strong and it was  HOT!. And the humidity in Florida is on a whole other level. Unbelievable! And I live in Texas so that is saying A LOT! Needless to say we didn't stay at the beach very long.

This is my other sweet niece Hollis. Love those legs.

My sister in law is a genius and brought these legos which the kids played with the entire trip
