Building Bears and Donut Holes

My Mom is the ultimate in experiences. She loves to take the kids to DO things. She would much rather DO things with them than buy them something. I love that about her and have so many great memories from growing up of her doing things with us. For a long time she has wanted to take the kids to Build A Bear. I kept putting it off because I thought that the last thing we needed around here was another stuffed animal. But then I saw how much my kids, especially Kate play with them. They play school at least once a day and their stuffed animals are the students. So when my Mom suggested it this time I said, "Let's go for it!" I'm so glad I did because the kids had a blast:)

First off my boy has become quite the little baker. He loves to help me in the kitchen and is getting really good at measuring and pouring and sprinkling etc. We were in Target the other day and he spotted these donut holes and was so excited to make them.

I have to say I was so surprised about how good he was at rolling the dough.

Messy hands!

He was the chief sprinkler.

Always creating. Except this time it was on my new roll of wrapping paper. No worries, I have a few more feet left! Sweet girl.

Her very predictable bear pick. Bright colors and oh so girly.

A camo bear for Carso!

The little heart that goes in all of the bears. :)

Closing their eyes and making a wish for their bears. Love this one.

Stepping on the stuffing pedal. Love the hands in the pockets. An important job for sure!

Working that stuffing pedal. There are no words to say how MUCH I love this little girl.

Brushing and fluffing. This place is so neat!

We went all out with costumes. Spiderman for Carso's bear. A total shocker!

Princess Bear for Kate.
