Cabin Fever Party

Here we are on Day 4  of Ice. My kids are hilarious because they haven't asked once to get out of the house. Homebodies for sure. Today Carson asked me if we were staying at the house today. I thought for sure he would groan when I told him yes. But he cheered! I think we would all be ok with staying in the house but it feels weird to know that even if we had to we couldn't get out of our driveway. I plan on working on that today because surely school won't be canceled again tomorrow. Ice pick anyone? Yesterday I cooked up a yummy Chicken enchilada soup http://www.cinnamonspiceandeverythingnice.com/slow-cooker-chicken-enchilada-soup/ and peppermint drop cookies. We have had to get creative with our food choices as we have run out of our old stand bys. It's funny because in some ways my kids are eating healthier.

In his comfy pajamas hiding out in the comfy spot. Love the legs.

The sun actually came out today

Carson's colorful mickey pancake.

He got that shiner on his forehead from wrestling with Kate. Since we've been home I have given out countless bandaids for injuries real and imagined.

Kate did not want oranges or raspberries so her Minnie pancake was less colorful.

God has said, "Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:5-6
