Christmas Eve And Christmas Day

We started out Christmas Eve morning with some baking and playing around. We went to Christmas Eve service at our church at 5 and sat with our good friends the Tuleys. After service we went to eat at On the Border with the Tuleys which is exactly what happened last year. I think we got ourselves a tradition going here. :) We ended the night by opening up our Christmas PJs and reading T'was the Night Before Christmas and the birth of Jesus. The kids went right to sleep with no popping up:) which is a Christmas Miracle in itself. On Christmas day the kids woke up around 8 which is early for my sleep in kids. They waited for me and mom before they went downstairs and then the chaos ensued. Their Dad came to pick them up around noon and they were excited about having another Christmas with Daddy. My Mom and I went to see Saving Mr. Banks which was just as good as the reviews have said. A very good day indeed.

Best Friends.

Leaving for Christmas Eve service

These are the kinds of pictures I will look at when the kids are older and think "Yep that was it. 4 and 5. This is exactly what they were like. Kate's mismatched Pjs and Carson with just a big tshirt and unders. Just as happy as can be." One of my favorite pics of all time.

Right before her big bow.

In a nutshell this picture captures Carson right now.

Love this one to. :)

It snowed in church!

She got to hold her own candle again:) That's my dear friend Jodi holding her.

I was holding my boy and cuddling with him. I found the secret to keeping him still: Give him a candle. He was mesmerized!

Kate loading Santa up with cookies.

I told the kids that heard somewhere that ginger ale was Santa's favorite drink. :)

I just love Carson face in this one.

Christmas morning. Arms held high:) Yes!!!

A kid camera for Kate!
