Ice Day #2

We are having so much fun being home bound. I don't know what it is but we are all homebodies so it suits us just fine to be home. We have just really enjoyed being together today. We have worn various tree ornaments as necklaces, danced, taken 2 warm baths, and baked Ninjabread men. And as a personal triumph I cleaned out all of my junk drawers and organized all of my important papers. That feels really good.  What a blessing to just slow down and not have to be anywhere at all. Our church is canceled tomorrow but they are putting together an online service. I just got a call from the Dallas Marathon to tell me that the race is canceled tomorrow. They were afraid that some of the servers were down and the message might not have reached some runners. This was a real live person. Which means they were calling ALL of the runners. This is a huge race. I  love the running community.

Our version of Ice Road Truckers:)

Yep he was dancing. They went out 3 times today for about 10 minutes. It was SO cold.

Our Ninjabread Men crew.

I improved my wreaths today with ornaments.

This is the Birthday present that Carson made for me. Carson said that I couldn't open it until my day on Tuesday. Sweetest boy ever.

Our Christmas countdown.

His Ninjabread men are  fighting. As you might expect one of their heads popped off which he thought was hilarious.

New and improved front door wreath.

Ninjabread man taking a freefall. Spoiler alert: his limbs did not stay intact upon impact:)
