As I think about what this year will be like I realize the real truth about my life. I have no idea what this year will bring. So much is up in the air. Will I find a job? Will we get to stay in our house? Will I be able to keep up with my love of running? So I am finding that I have to stick with the things that I do know will happen this year. Saying that I do know that they will happen seems pretty bold considering the past 2 years that I have experienced, but I feel confident in the following:
1. My kids will give me hugs and kisses and tell me they love me a billion times a day. I look at that sentence and I think, good grief what more do I need?
2. Carson will turn 5 in January. So extremely grateful for this one. My boy wonder. My most absolute hands down favorite boy in the whole wide world will be the big 5!

2014- 5 Things I am Sure Will Happen
4. In February my sweet and spunky blue eyed beauty will turn 6.:) I have loved 5. So many fun discoveries for her and she is reading and writing and loving kindergarten. She is turning into a lady and I am so proud of her heart. She is nothing like I thought she would be but everything I hoped she would be:)
5. God will never leave me. This one I am absolutely 110% sure of in 2014 and beyond. He has guided me and provided for us and loved us fiercely these past few years. He will never let me down. So here is the last picture. You can't see me but my joy is reflected in the face of my beautiful girl. I am excited to leap into this year and trust and KNOW that my God is with me every single step of the way.

God has said, "Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:5-6
