I really kept it simple this year. Simple just seems to be a need for me right now:) Everything except for some ribbon and our new village house is being recycled.

| I love this little house that we found at JoAnn's on sale this week end. It light up at night and looks so pretty. I had a friend who added a different house to his little Christmas Village every year. I always thought that was so neat. I picked this house out this year. I really wanted the kids to be more involved but they were more interested in the fake snow that we bought to go around it. :) My plan is that they will each get to add something each year to our little village. |

| I just love sitting by out tree at night. Something about a lit Christmas tree is so serene to me. |

| I have never really thought out our Christmas mantle until this year. I definitely knew I wanted something simple. I brought down the mirror that was in my bedroom and leaned it on the mantle, hung the wreath from last year in front of it, filled my hurrican vases with old ornaments, and hung some ornaments from the ceiling with fishing line. I love how it looks so festive yet simple. |

| As we were putting the ornaments on the tree last week end Carso pulled out quite a few and exclaimed, "Look Mommy they don't got no HANDLES!" So instead of buying new hooks (handles) I piled them high into my hurricane vase and set it in the center of my black table. I love it. |
