Pure Joy!

There is no better way to say this so I'll just plunge right in..........We are expecting baby #2! Yes, check my blog to make sure you are on the right one, check Kate's ticker at the top that says she is just 4 1/2 months old. Nevertheless, God has chosen to bless us again very quickly and we couldn't be happier. God's plan for our family is the best and his timing is always perfect! I love this very unexpected surprise in our lives. For awhile I have suspected I was pregnant but never thought it could be possible. Well, it be! I have taken 3 tests (I'm crazy with those tests!) and they all say positive even the digital one! At first my emotions were mixed as you can imagine but now I am just reveling in God's goodness. Jared was elated and Kate actually smiled when we told her. Yes, I'll save you the math. At the MOST Kate will be 13 months old when she becomes a big sister. My first appointment will be July 7th so please be praying for this new sweet one. I am looking forward to that appointment because it will solve the mystery of how far along I am. I love it! Thank you God for blessing us beyond our wildest dreams! Blessed Be His Name!!!!!!

Holy crap! At least that's what I would say if we were having another baby already, hahaha. Madelynn is waaaay too demanding (kinda like her mama). But since it is you and not me, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Babies are exciting, and I'm really happy for you guys. I can't believe how quickly our family is growing these days. Lots of love to ALL of you!
P.S. Madelynn sure does hope to meet Kate soon!!!

We are so happy for you guys! I know you may have been a bit stunned at first, but isn't it wonderful? I remember asking myself when I found out that I was pregnant with Devin, "Can I possibly love another as much as my first?" And the answer is: ABSOLUTELY AND UNCONDITIONALLY! What a blessing as your family grows.

OK, now for the joke. . . these two can be called Irish twins, right? LOL:) If we have another girl that would even up the score a bit on the Griffinsister side- with 3 boys and 2 girls. If we have a boy this time- that's cool, 'cause Miss Kate will have an entire team of cousin-brothers to protect her every step!

Love,
Tress

We are SOOO very excited for you three!!! I almost wondered after our conversation this weekend but I must say you played it off well!
I'm sure you and Jared are overwhelmed with joy, excitement, and the fear of the unknown but like you said "it's all in HIS hands." I, too, like everyone else keep saying and thinking WOW!!! I really am so excited for you guys, we'll be praying for you and the baby!

How great is this?!!! Sounds like us :) Faith and Ava are a week shy of 13 months apart. It's really not that hard until they are both toddlers. Right now is the hardest it's been (18m and 2 1/1 years). They love to get into things together - very mischevious those two. It's kind of like having twins really. I've even read from other moms who have raised children this close that they would have done it all over again because of how close the two children were.

I'm so excited for you guys!!! Keep leaning on the Lord and you'll be surprised at how much you can do! Blessings!

Congratulations Betsy! Our two aren't very far apart and it's been a lot of fun.
