New To Me

When it comes to kids clothes I am a big believer in buying second hand. I figure if other kids grow out of their clothes as fast as mine do they weren't worn very much and are therefore practically new. That's my logic anyway. A couple of weekends ago my friends and I went to a huge consignment sale that is big around here called Just Between Friends. When I say huge I mean convention center huge. It would have taken me all day just to go through all of the clothes in Kate's size. Kate has only one disadvantage in our family. She is the only girl on both sides. She does not get any hand me down clothes. Being one of 7 boy cousins Carson has a lot of great hand me downs just waiting for him to where. Kate on the other hand has just what we buy her so I tend to focus more on her when we go to these sales. This year my main goal was dresses. I found some good casual dresses and some good dressier dresses. Kate being a girly girl loves to try on clothes. She agreed to model 2 of the fashions for us. I love the black and red combo with bright red shoes. The flowered hat and yellow dress did not come together but Kate thought they were a great match!
